Stephanie Chavez is an American journalist working at KRQE-TV, a CBS-affiliated television station in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a weekend news anchor and multimedia reporter. She reports on the 4:00 and 5:30 newscasts and also anchors the weekend morning shows. Prior to joining KRQE, she worked at KTWO TV, an ABC-affiliated television station in Casper, Wyoming as a news reporter. She has also worked at KVIA-TV, an ABC-affiliated station in Elpaso, Texas, where she served as a news intern. At the station, she wrote scripts, VO’s, and teases for weekday and weekend shows. Additionally, Stephanie has worked at KRWG News22 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, as an anchor and news reporter. She attended New Mexico State University, where she graduated with a Bachelors’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.
